Picking the right COLOR
Mayan
hammocks are usually woven from seven
basic colors...red,
yellow, purple, sky blue, royal blue, leaf green, and dark green.
Other colors are rare. (We generally stay away from pink.)
Cotton hammock
colors tend to be softer and more soothing.
Nylon colors are more vibrant and much brighter.
Most traditional hammocks
have bold alternating stripes or
a less common herringbone weave, in which the colors are blended
more gently.

To a
Mexican hammock aficionado, the more colors, the better...so
a seven color stripe would be more highly prized than two simple
alternating colors. Ordering a "rainbow" will
always get you a bright and colorful hammock.

TIP
Ramona
also has "natural" hammocks (in some cotton
sizes), which are an off-white (almost beige). They are rare and highly
prized.

|
My two
most popular hammocks are the
"Marina"
and the "Tequila
Sunrise."
They
are available in both cotton and nylon.

And
please remember, because each hammock is handmade (often in different
villages), no two hammocks are
alike...in exact size OR color.
Feeling
adventurous? When
ordering, select "Ramona's Choice," and she
will personally pick her prettiest hammock just for you.
